On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join their HR analytics team. The role involves handling tasks ranging from data analysis and reporting to building dashboards and machine learning models. The data is hosted on Google Cloud Platform, primarily in BigQuery, with SQL, Python, and Power BI used for data transformation and visualization.
- Perform data analysis and profiling.
- Build data pipelines using SQL.
- Develop dashboards and self-service tools using Power BI.
- Collaborate with Data Engineers and stakeholders to develop data models and solutions.
- Integrate into a cross-functional agile team with Product Owner, Data Scientists/Analysts/Stewards and Data/ML/Software/DevOps Engineers.
- Work closely with the Product Owner and business stakeholders to ensure business value realization
- Facilitating, planning and managing workshops and activities to define business needs for analytics
Requirements
- Strong skills in data profiling, analysis, and cleaning to derive insights.
- Extensive experience with Power BI or similar tools (QlikSense, Tableau).
- Strong experience in SQL, preferably with cloud-based data warehousing services like Google BigQuery, Snowflake or AWS Redshift
- Experience with People/HR data analytics.
- Preferably, knowledge of Python for data processing.
- Independent, proactive, and able to sense-check your own work.
- Team player with experience in cross-functional and agile environments.
- Familiarity with project and change management.
